Training Schedule

The club trains three nights a week in the New Sports Hall at the ANU Sport facilities on the ANU Campus.

Tuesday night is our "main" training — if you're thinking about joining the club and want to check it out, this is the time to come.



7pm – 10pm

We start with a structured warm-up and footwork exercises, followed by breaking off into weapon-specific groups for bladework and drills. Then, free fencing until the hall closes at 10.


7:30pm – 9:30pm

Agility drills, footwork and bladework drills, strength and conditioning.


11am – 2pm

Mostly free fencing, with some ad hoc training depending on who shows up. The club also runs competitions and intensive masterclasses during this session. Check the calendar for more details.
